Fox Raceway Is Now Pala Raceway Presented by Fox Racing

The Pala motocross track you may know as Fox Raceway has a new name: Pala Raceway presented by Fox Racing. Same dirt, same place in Pala. The name on the sign is what changed.

What Changed

On October 16, 2026, Cycle News reported that Fox Raceway is now called Pala Raceway presented by Fox Racing. The track sits in Pala, California, home of the Pala Band of Mission Indians. Fox Racing and the Pala Band have worked together since 2018, when the track took the Fox Raceway name. That partnership continues under the new name.

Why Pala Is Back in the Name

Fox Racing's global director, Michael Crocco, described the Pala Raceway name as being reinstated. He credited the recent Pro National, the Pala Band, the local staff, and track operators including Nick Wey for keeping dirt bike riding alive in Southern California. Pala Band chairman Robert Smith said the Tribe is proud to extend its partnership with Fox Racing and looks forward to welcoming riders, fans, and families to Pala.

What It Means for Your Ride Days

Nothing about the riding has been announced as changing. It is the same facility with main, vet, and kids track options, and it still runs on its own practice calendar. You will now see it listed as Pala Raceway on our site and in your trip plan. If you booked a ride day at Fox Raceway, it is the same track and there is nothing you need to change. The official practice and race schedule lives at raceway.palatribe.com, with updates on Instagram at @palaracewaymx.

The Pala National Returns in 2027

Pala will again host the Pro Motocross season opener in May 2027; our calendar has it on Saturday, May 29. Our Pala National Experience is built around that race: arrive Sunday, ride four days at SoCal tracks, take a Friday play day at the MXV Compound, watch the National on Saturday with your ticket included, and fly home Sunday. Hotel and bike are included, priced per rider for two riders.
